Wordgames: what up its Wordgames... born and raised in LI New York... but spittin for afew years and still on the come up... don't sleep cause I'm the future beleive that...
Hip Hop Ave: how long have you been doing audio?
Wordgames: about 8 months I'd have to guess... but the dudes on the ave been helpin me elevate like crazy so good looks to eryone whos been givin feed.... its appreciated...
Hip Hop Ave: how would you define your style
Wordgames: versatile... as soon as I start to follow a trend with my music I try to switch it up so its different you know?
Hip Hop Ave: are there any artists who have inspired you?
Wordgames: oh too many to count... but mcs like AZ and Nas and them, you spit with skill but keep it real at the same time... also... I'ma have to say on the ave, two dudes that inspired me the most would be Calli and Casper... Calli been pushin me and helpin me elevate since wayyy back in the old ave, and I wouldn't be close to as good as I am now without him... and the kid Casper, all the collabs and audios I done with dude he always makes you come hard, and again, pushes you to get better, so shouts to both of them too...
Hip Hop Ave: what first got you into hip hop
Wordgames: I'd have to say my pops back in the day, he was big into hiphop and reggae, singin in a reggae band himself... so I guess the music's in my blood you know? then cyphers in the lunchroom and all that, got me into spittin...
Hip Hop Ave: When did you record your first track?
Wordgames: oh maann... awhile ago... I couldn't even tell you lol... but proly about 8 months ago or so... roughly, its not that long ago, but it seems like forever man...
Hip Hop Ave: For you, is your music just for fun or are you hoping to go somewhere with it?
Wordgames: I'm most def. lookin to go somewhere with it... I'm tryin to get my music heard all over the place as of late, been showin erybody I see, bangin it loud everywhere so people'a hear... I'll be droppin a mixtape soon jus you know to hand out and erything to get heard even more, and hopefully I get somewhere with this you know?
Hip Hop Ave: Have you done any big projects yet?
Wordgames: not nessacarily no... like I said jus workin on gettin the mixtape done... and I'll go from there...
Hip Hop Ave: What is your favourite thing about hip hop?
Wordgames: well, I'd have to say my favorite thing about hiphop is that it's so adverse, no matter what other people've been sayin or what they sayin, it really doesn't matter about yo race, color, who you are, where your from or none of that, as long as u live it you know?
Hip Hop Ave: what advice would you give to other artists trying to come up
Wordgames: jus stay at it... don't listen to nobody else... jus stay elevatin and keep doin you and eventually, if you work hard enough you can do nothin but succeed...
Hip Hop Ave: anything else you'd like to add?
Wordgames: yeah... shouts to eryone on the ave who showed me love and helped me elevate... I really couldn't be even close to the level I'm at or even any hope of elevatin past that if it wasn't for yall... so again its much appreciated...
